the volunteer efforts of REC employees. In the past year, 15 WIPCO
employees participated in over 60 community service projects and had
1,346 hours of volunteer activity. Each employee reporting at least
25 hours of service received a Touchstone Energyâ
garment. Since this program started in 1998, WIPCO employees have
contributed 14,546 volunteer hours.
The Cooperative employees volunteered in a variety of community
activities, including blood donation; Relay for Life; city council and
other city government boards; hospital and church boards; volunteer
firefighting; leadership of church, community and youth group boards;
refereeing and coaching sports activities and working on community
celebrations.
